What are CE credits?

CE or Continuing Education is required education for accounting, tax, andContinuing Education (CE) or Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are required hours that healthcare professionals must complete to maintain their clinical licensure. CE provides an opportunity for clinicians to grow their expertise, stay up-to-date on evidence-based practices, and ensure patient safety.

Who needs CE credits?

CE is mandated by state licensing boards for Physical Therapists (PT/PTA), Occupational Therapists (OT/OTA), Athletic Trainers (ATC), Massage Therapists (MT) and Nurses (RN/LPN/LVN) to maintain their license to practice. Requirements vary by state and profession. It is the professional's responsibility to comply with their specific state board requirements and renewal cycles.

How long do I have to complete a course once I start it?

You will have 1-year from the date of purchase or registration to complete your course (or as long as your membership is active). 

Can I earn CE credits online?

COURSE APPROVALS & REPORTING

Where are Ridley Learning courses accredited?

While requirements vary by state and license type, our courses are designed to meet many continuing education requirements. We recommend clinicians verify specific state board rules - particularly regarding live or interactive coursework when planning their CE.

Who issues the CE credit?

Ridley Learning is the accredited provider, and issues CE credit. 

Does Ridley Learning report my hours to CE Broker?

Yes! For states that utilize CE Broker, we report your completed hours weekly on Mondays for the prior 7 days of completions. In addition we report daily during the last 3 days of every month (including weekends).

Are Ridley Learning courses approved by my specific State Board?

Our courses are approved across a variety of license types & states. Please validate which courses are approved for your state and license type by browsing our course catalog here, or reviewing the accreditation coverage map.

I have a multi-state license. Will one course count for both?

In many cases, yes! If the course is approved for both locations, you can apply the credit to both licenses. You will receive a certificate that includes the relevant approval information for your records. 

CE COURSES & CREDITS

Do I have to take a test to receive credit?

Yes, state boards require a post-course exam. You must achieve a passing score (typically 70% or 80%, depending on the board) to receive your certificate. You will have unlimited opportunities to complete your exam.

Are Ridley Learning courses "Evidence-Based"?

Yes! Ridley Learning's clinical courses are developed utilizing the latest research, and peer-reviewed to ensure they meet current evidence-based practice standards.

How long do I have to complete a course once I start it?

Can I pause and resume my on-demand course?

Yes! Our on-demand courses allow you to pause and return where you left off at your convenience. Once you begin an exam, we recommend you complete the entire exam to ensure your answers are fully recorded. 

How often are Ridley Learning courses updated?

Ridley Learning completes a course review process annually to ensure all courses utilize the latest evidence and techniques. Any identified updates are completed at that time. Members have access to course updates automatically. 

COURSE CERTIFICATES

How do I download my certificate?

Once you pass your exam, your certificate is instantly available within the course page. 

How do I update my license number or name on my certificate?

Please login, and click "my licenses" to update your licenses. To update your name, please complete the contact form & we'll gladly help you out!

I lost my certificate of completion. How can I recover it?

Login and revisit your course page to access your certificate of completion at any time! We maintain certificate access for a minimum of 5 years from the date of completion.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Can I get a refund for my purchase?

Yes! We offer a money-back satisfaction gurantee! If you are not happy with your purchase, we will provide you a refund in accordance with our refund policy here. For memberships, refunds are pro-rated based on any CE certificates already issued. 

Can I exchange my on-demand course?

Yes! As long as you have not yet completed the exam and received CE credit, we are happy to exchange your a-la-carte course for another one of equal value. Simply reach out to us, via the contact form on this page and we'll gladly help you out!
